How’s it going EH!
Three years ago I decided to move out of my igloo in Canada, hang up the ice hockey skates and sticks and move to the other side of the world.
You may have seen me around the gym training a few clients; I’m the one without the accent. I have been in the fitness industry for 17 years. Growing up I was involved in various sports including, ice hockey, baseball, and football (Kiwi’s call it grid iron).
After my sporting career came to an end I decided to take up weight training. I have competed in many bodybuilding competitions and plan on competing for as long as my body allows me too.
The gym has changed my life in so many positive ways that it would take more than a few Mac’s Gold to tell you about it. I feel very fortunate to wake up every day, go to the gym and be able to help and guide people to their personal/fitness goals.
My philosophy is simple, if you train hard and put every ounce of energy into every workout and more importantly eat a clean and healthy diet you are destined for success.
If you neglect the nutrition side of things then you will find it hard to reach your goals regardless of how much you train. Eating a clean and healthy diet requires discipline, focus and a strong mind. Although, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the good things in life but you must first get on track and then think of it as “earning” the good things in life…… remember, things are much better when we earn them!
